Our Mandate
The mandate of the SGS is to provide support to Self Governing First Nations for the implementation of their land claim agreement. This is achieved through the development and implementation of an annual work plan that is done in consultation with the designated First Nation Government Official and the SGS Chiefs Committee. All projects within the annual work plan must benefit all self governing First Nations.
