The Government of the Yukon Territory (YTG) is a party to the Yukon Land Claims agreement, along with the Council of Yukon First Nations and the Government of Canada. As a party to the agreements, the Yukon Government is responsible for various aspects of the implementation of the agreements. The Yukon Government partners with the Council of Yukon First Nations in various initiatives to do with the implementation as well as in ongoing matters of local and regional concern.
