Job Summary: Reporting to the Senior Analyst – Justice, the Community Impact Statement (CIS) Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and administration of community impact statements for Yukon First Nations. The position will work with Yukon First Nations to increase awareness and understanding of CIS and will provide culturally appropriate support and services to communities that desire to have a CIS submitted to the court. The position will be responsible for developing and implementing supports through outreach, liaising with local criminal justice stakeholders and collaboration with community resource providers.

Screening Criteria: Post-secondary diploma in justice or social related field, and/or equivalency obtained through course work and/or work experience.

Salary:                   Level 8: $65,010.26 – $81,263.51

Category:            Full-time, 6-month term (with possibility of extension)
