Director of Yukon Native Language Centre (YNLC)

Job Summary: Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of YNLC is responsible for the overall management and operations of the Yukon Native Language Centre (YNLC). The incumbent manages and facilitates the overall approach to the Yukon Native Language political mandates set by leadership. This position is a key member of the Senior Management Team and is responsible for implementation of the strategic plan.

Screening Criteria: Post-secondary degree in education or linguist related field, and/or equivalency obtained through course work and/or work experience.

Salary:            Level 11: $94,308.55 – $117,884.63

Language Resource Officer

Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Yukon Native Language Centre (YNLC), the Language Resource Officer will be responsible for the development and implementation of various Yukon First Nations language resources.

Screening Criteria: Post-secondary diploma or degree in an education related field and/or equivalency obtained through coursework and/or experience.

Salary:            Level 9: $74,965.05 – $93,707.72
