Description
The Council of Yukon First Nations (CYFN) is partnering with the First Nations Information Governance Centre (FNIGC) to undertake a national First Nations survey on First Nations Labour and Employment Development (FNLED). The FNLED survey is scheduled to begin.
CYFN would like to invite First Nations representatives to participate in a facilitated workshop to assist with the development of the survey. FNIGC has suggested we consider developing questions that address the following areas: Barriers and Levers to Economic Participation, Labour Mobility, Entrepreneurship, Post-Secondary Education, Targeted Skills Training, Sources of Income, Financial Security, Housing, Indigenous Language Use and Traditional Activities.
CYFN would like to invite First Nations delegates to participate to ensure that the survey is relevant and meaningful to Yukon First Nations. CYFN is able to provide travel and accommodations for 3-4 delegates per First Nation.
