Description

The Council of Yukon First Nations (CYFN) and Kwanlin Dün First Nation (KDFN) are excited to partner with Communicate to offer a two-day strategic communications workshop.  This is an opportunity, at no cost to your governments, for First Nation communications staff to gather, learn more about strategic communications from our facilitators and each other, and to discuss solutions to the communication challenges we all face.

CYFN will cover your travel and accommodation costs.  The training is for First Nation communications staff, but it is also open to staff in your governments that have communication responsibilities and/or who want to learn more about strategic communications.

Here are the details:

When:              Tuesday, June 13 and Wednesday, June 14, 2017

Where:            Nàkwät’à Kų̀  (KDFN’s potlatch house) at 35 McIntyre Drive, Whitehorse

Communicate will be our facilitators.  Formed in 2016, Communicate is a full-service communication, marketing and public relations

agency based in Ottawa, Vancouver – and now Whitehorse. Communicate was created with a vision of establishing a network of Indigenous-led agencies

across the country.  (More about Communicate attached)
