A framed original poster of the cover of Together Today for our Children Tomorrow was recently returned to its original home at CYFN this week, immediately following the Feb. 14th anniversary of the presentation of Together Today for our Children Tomorrow to Prime Minister Trudeau in 1973.

The piece was repatriated by way of a donation made by local antiques dealer Andrew Cook of @northof60antiques to CYFN Grand Chief Peter Johnston.

Grand Chief Shares a Tidbit on Authenticity

It’s believed that the poster may have been displayed in the House of Commons to denote the current agenda item on February 14th, 1973 – the historic day that Together Today for our Children Tomorrow was presented to Prime Minister Trudeau by a delegation of Yukon Chiefs. This event marked a major milestone in the eventual land claims movement for Yukon First Nations.
