Gladue Report Writer Training – July 25-28, 2022

The Council of Yukon First Nations (CYFN) is accepting applications from Yukon First Nations that are interested in participating in Gladue Report Writer Training.

A Gladue report is a written report that describes the unique circumstances of Indigenous offenders and is used by the court when sentencing.

Upon successful completion of the training, applicants may be eligible for a mentorship on CYFN’s Gladue Roster.

All applicants must submit a technical writing sample as part of the application process. A travel subsidy is available for applicants from the communities.  Limited spaces available. The deadline to apply is Friday, July 22, 2022.
